Diamond Municipal Solutions is pleased to welcome the Town of Halton Hills to our growing community of public sector clients. Halton Hills, situated on the western edge of the GTA, comprises over a dozen historic towns and villages – Acton and Georgetown being the two largest – each offering their own unique attractions, events and special historical qualities. The Town of Halton Hills, serving about 60,000 residents has a special atmosphere of small town living, yet is still an easy commute to Toronto.

THE CHALLENGE:
The Town of Halton Hills was struggling with the integration of their current ERP system when they began their search for a more advanced municipal resource planning solution. There was significant opportunity to improve overall Town process, decrease redundant data entry (and related entry errors) and provide improved customer service. The town was also currently using a purchasing system that was completely manual and paper-based. That, in turn, led to slower than optimal processes, very low corporate visibility, manual inquiry and manual vendor interaction (faxed POs for example). They were also looking to do a complete business process review with the goal being to find efficiencies and improve controls through the use of best practices integrated into the Town of Halton Hills.
 

THE-SOLUTION:

By replacing the current systems with a more stable, comprehensive and efficient financial system, the Town is hoping to gain significant functionality advantages through their partnership with Diamond so that end users can perform day to day tasks more efficiently.
