Diamond Municipal Solutions
Founded in 1994, Diamond Municipal Solutions specializes in the development, implementation and support of municipal and utility accounting systems for mid-sized municipalities. Functions include property tax, utility billing, job costing, payroll and general accounting. With Microsoft’s Dynamics financial software at the heart, Diamond is standardized on Microsoft technologies — Windows, Microsoft SQL, development tools and Office. Acquired by StarDyne in April 2003, Diamond has since expanded into the US through its Microsoft Channel partnership, acquired CompuPower (2003) and WorkTech (2004), made several additional strategic partnerships, opened offices in Ontario and North Dakota, doubled in size by employees and has grown from around 90 to over 200 clients.

CompuPower Systems
CompuPower was a reseller of municipal software products from a number of vendors including Microsoft's Great Plains, WorkTech and Diamond Municipal Software. The acquisition by StarDyne in May 2003 solidified a strong sales division for Diamond in the Ontario market and expanded the breadth of management and municipal experience. The acquisition also strengthens Diamond’s position as a Microsoft Solution Partner for municipalities.
