Acquisition of Leading School System Software Adds New Dimension to Star Municipal
Markham, Ontario, April 24, 2006 —Star Municipal Technologies Inc., a technology company focused on providing software and related services to the public sector, is pleased to announce the addition of SRB Education Solutions (SRB) to its Group of Companies. Through its predecessor, SRB International, SRB has supplied the Ontario School system with leading Student and Financial systems for over 25 years. As Star Municipal’s eighth acquisition in five years, this adds the K-12 educational sector to the range of public sector organizations already served by Star Municipal through its Group Companies. This acquisition represents the cornerstone in Star Municipal’s strategy to build a strong presence in the education market across North America.
